I. Mondal is an Indian Australian fantasy writer. An ‘in-betweener’ of cultures herself, she likes to write about notions of identity and belonging but with a good dose of magical complications thrown into the mix.

Educated at the Australian National University and the London School of Economics, she majored in South Asian studies during her undergraduate years and has lived in the UAE, New Zealand, the UK, and Cambodia. She currently resides in Australia.
